Manor Fields Primary School
On this project, we worked closely with a specialist fire door contractor, who supplied and installed 15 new FD30 fire doors. The doors were automated with Gilgen FD20 Automatic swing door operators.
The doors were all fitted with touch-free exit buttons to prevent the spread of germs and where possible movement sensors were fitted to open the doors upon approach.
As this was a primary school, safety is even more important than usual, so we fitted a combination of BEA Flatscan and Flatscan 3D sensors, which use laser technology to form an invisible protctive sheild around the moving door leaves.
